Light Switches and Magic
Have you ever felt like you silently (or not so silently) wished for something and then the person to fulfill that request magically appeared?
The moment I randomly met hypnotherapist Lynnsey Robinson on Instagram I knew I needed to work with her. At the time I was struggling with this vision that I was standing next to a light switch, willing it to turn on with the force of my gaze or waiting for someone else to turn it on for me, but the dang thing wouldn’t turn on!
It was a frustrating place to be. I felt so stuck and knew I needed help to learn HOW to turn that light switch on myself. When I met Lynnsey I had only told one other person about my light switch vision. In the midst of our conversation Lynnsey compared hypnosis to turning on a light switch inside you. Tears came to my eyes, I had no idea that this was exactly what I needed.
I joined Lynnsey's 6 week money belief program, not really knowing what to expect and by the end of the program I left like a new person. I shed fears and insecurities that I didn't even know I had! I felt a physical change, an openness in my heart space. I discovered deep-seated beliefs that I didn't know were there.
I took a risk and reached out to a stranger that magically appeared on Instagram practicing a discipline I'd never experienced before and I'm so thankful I did!
Journaling Prompt: When did someone magically appear in your life?
Magical moments are all around us, we just need to be open to receive them. What does that look like? Noticing when you see someone wearing your favorite color, hearing the song that’s been in your head on repeat over the loudspeakers when you walk into a store, or feeling synchronicity with another human. They don’t have to be big important moments, they can be small and subtle (because they’re just for you to notice, no one else).
I’m leading a workshop this Saturday, where I’m teaching my Thoughtful Journaling Method and my co-host Bree, is teaching about Primary and Secondary nutrition (I had no idea these concepts existed and my nerd-brain is so excited for you to learn about them too!) Together we’re teaching you how to bring more balance into your life. Come join us, there are only 11 spots left and I’d love to have you there.
Oh! and did I tell you?! Our workshop is sponsored by Third Culture Bakery (they make my most favoritest gluten-free muffins and donuts, and I don't even like donuts). I was totally terrified to ask Third Culture to sponsor us and they happily said yes!

I want something different for next year. I’m not one for setting resolutions, I gave up on them years ago, I don’t really see the point of trying to make a change that won’t stick.
